Presidential Ads on the Web - Observations around the Web and What It Says About the Candidates
I have noticed recently that Hillary and McCain ads are showing on my site. Now, that is fine, but I don’t support them. I could probably filter them out, but that is ok, let them spend their money.
The observation though, is that McCain and Hillary are spending their money on getting ads on a site like mine, by no means tons of traffic. That means they are spending less. Now, when I peruse the Huffington Post, or MySpace, etc, I see Obama ads. Why is that relevant? He is spending more money on ads, and why not, he is raking it in right now.
Like my last post, he took in over 40 million in March, while Hillary took in around 20 million. And McCain, well he got blasted in Feb, I haven’t seen the totals for March yet, but my guess is its around 12-15 million.
More money, more support, more ways you can get eyeballs on your site.
