I dunno about that -
I once dated this guy and he too was really geeky!! He was alot like you. I always thought that it would be kewl to have a marriage proposal from him via some web design/page/broadcast of some kind. A proposal from his heart; made from his love for the tech world. /But/ the wedding would need to be more personal then gadgets & gizmos. I dreamed of a simple ceremony out at an old closed down highway with an open mine pit in the background. There would have been close friends & family.
Weddings need to be intimate and personal. The techno world can not take the place of the love you feel thou the touch of ones hand, or the sounds of laughter and sight of the a smile.
But that is just my take on it -
